Let's learn and grow together!

Hey, I'm Lil.
Ice Hockey Skating & Skills Coach, Personal Trainer, and Foodie
My mission is to help individuals feel functional and athletic for optimal daily and sports performance. I am very passionate about teaching kids how to skate and the different skills needed to be successful on the ice.
As a personal trainer and an ice hockey power skating and skills coach I love sharing my knowledge about fitness, health, and hockey with others. Everyone has their own way of learning and I enjoy figuring out what works best for each individual to reach their own physical and personal goals.

What is Flow State?
Do not underestimate the power of your mind. If we can influence our brain to get into a state of flow, where you are fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus you will enjoy the process leading up to your peak performance. To get to flow state the activity or task must be challenging enough where you have the skill level to complete what you are trying to accomplish. When flow state is achieved we lose track of time and feel completely immersed in what we are doing feeling joy and involvement. Ultimately, if we can find your flow state when training this will increase happiness, motivation, creativity, and better emotional regulation amongst other positive effects of combatting stress and anxiety.
Taking small steps to achieve flow state is important because it makes the present more enjoyable (more fun playing sports) when completing a difficult task. Making it a habit to find flow will give you the best form of self-motivation to do what is challenging and in your best interest.
